Service scope
CerebralCheck provides website accessibility scans, plain-English findings, practical fix guidance, and—when included with a paid plan—ongoing monitoring for the websites you submit. The service is designed to help a small-business or restaurant team see useful next steps without needing to be an accessibility specialist.
A scan reviews the public URL and the parts of the experience that the service can reach and evaluate. Results are informational and may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by changes to the website or its availability.
Accounts and customer responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, the security of your sign-in credentials, and the URLs you submit. Tell us promptly if you believe someone has used your account without permission. You may submit a website only when you have permission to request checks against it.
You are responsible for reviewing scan results and deciding which changes to make. CerebralCheck does not make changes to your website unless a separate written service agreement says otherwise.
Acceptable use
You may not use CerebralCheck to:
- Submit URLs or content that you do not have the right to access or test.
- Interfere with the service, probe its infrastructure, bypass access controls, or attempt to access another customer’s account or results.
- Use scan traffic to harass, overload, disrupt, or damage a website or its visitors.
- Upload or transmit unlawful, malicious, or infringing material through the service.
Subscriptions and access
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. The pricing, trial, site limit, checkout, billing, and cancellation relationship is described on the public Subscription, Cancellation, and Refunds pages and is completed through the hosted billing experience when you choose a plan.
Access to paid subscription features is tied to the subscription status reported by the billing provider. CerebralCheck may limit or suspend access when a subscription is no longer active, a payment issue is unresolved, or these terms are materially violated.
Important limits of automated scans
Automated scans find only some accessibility issues. They do not guarantee compliance with the ADA, Section 508, or any other accessibility law, regulation, or standard. A scan is not a certification, audit, legal opinion, or promise that a website is accessible to every person or assistive technology.
CerebralCheck does not replace manual testing, review by a qualified accessibility professional, or legal counsel. Use the results as a starting point, combine them with human review, and obtain advice for your particular legal or accessibility obligations.
Support and changes
